Radio Program Reaches 40,000 Listeners Weekly

By YOSPIS Admin
Our weekly radio health education program has achieved a remarkable milestone, now reaching an estimated 40,000 listeners across Northern Nigeria.

The program, broadcast every Saturday on local FM stations, covers topics ranging from disease prevention to nutrition and mental health.

"Radio remains one of the most effective ways to reach our communities," explains our Communications Officer. "It transcends barriers of literacy and geography."

Recent episodes have covered:
- Understanding and preventing malaria
- Nutrition for children under five
- Managing diabetes and hypertension
- Mental health awareness
- COVID-19 prevention measures

Listeners can call in during the live broadcast to ask questions and share their experiences.

The program is supported by our donors and partners who understand the power of mass media in health education.
